One new job. One gone.

115 public listings across the same 11 employers, collapsing to the same six distinct jobs as a fortnight ago, except the six are not the same six. SonderMind opened a salaried W-2 role alongside its contract network, and Charlie Health's role closed. Pay is shown exactly as the employer published it.

Verification, 14 August 2026 at 04:59 UTC Sources: the public job-board APIs of Ashby (Talkiatry, SonderMind, Equip Health, Headway, Rula, Grow Therapy) and Greenhouse (Charlie Health, Two Chairs, Iris Telehealth, Talkspace). 115 raw listings matched a psychiatric nurse practitioner role. After removing duplicate state-by-state and duplicate-title repostings, 6 distinct jobs remained. All 6 application links were requested, all 6 returned HTTP 200, and all 6 were confirmed still present in the employer's live feed rather than trusted on the status code alone. Cerebral's Greenhouse board returned 404 this fortnight and could not be read. No employer paid to appear here, and no link below is an affiliate or tracking link.

What changed since 31 July

New: SonderMind is now advertising a salaried W-2 PMHNP role with a guaranteed base starting at $140,000, separate from the 1099 contract network it already ran. Same employer, two entirely different deals. This is the first time in this brief that you can compare 1099 against W-2 inside one company.

Closed: Charlie Health's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner role, which appeared in issue 01 as 2 listings in South Carolina and Virginia, is gone. Its Greenhouse posting now returns 404, and none of the 301 roles currently on Charlie Health's board match a psychiatric nurse practitioner title. Note that the company's careers page still returns a normal page for the old link, which is exactly how a dead posting can look alive if you only check the status code.

Shrunk: Two Chairs has dropped California and Maryland. It now posts only Florida and Washington, and the specific listings from issue 01 have been replaced with new ones.

Unreadable: Cerebral's Greenhouse board returned 404 on every slug we tried. In issue 01 it was live and simply had no PMHNP role. This fortnight we cannot tell you either way, so we are not counting it as empty.

The six roles

SonderMind

Nurse Practitioner, W-2 Providers

NEW
Pay as postedFrom $140,000 per year
StructureW-2, full-time, remote
LicensureColorado and California metros
Posted as1 listing

The only new role this fortnight, and the most interesting thing in this issue. SonderMind published it as "a guaranteed base salary starting at $140,000 per year, plus productivity-based incentives." It is listed as remote but anchored to Denver and seven California metros, so read the location requirement before you assume it is open nationwide. The title on the board is just "Nurse Practitioner" with no psychiatric qualifier, which means it will not show up in most PMHNP searches at all. The body of the posting asks for a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Talkiatry

Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

W-2
Pay as posted$180K to $215K on-target
StructureFull-time and part-time W-2
Licensure51 states and Washington, D.C.
Posted as52 separate listings, one per state

Unchanged from issue 01, still the highest published band here, still posted once per state. The posting reads "Total annual on-target earnings of $180k to $215k+, consisting of base salary and monthly productivity," so the top of that band assumes you hit productivity targets. It is one job, not fifty-two.

SonderMind

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, contract network

1099
Pay as postedUp to $248 per hour
StructurePart-time, contract
Licensure45 states
Posted as46 separate listings, one per state

The posting says "Pay: Up to $248 per hour (pay dependent on session type)." Read that against the new W-2 role above, from the same company. On the 1099 side you absorb your own tax, malpractice, insurance and unbilled admin time, and the hourly figure covers billed sessions only. On the W-2 side you get $140,000 guaranteed and none of that overhead. Whichever way you lean, SonderMind has now priced both for you to compare.

Two Chairs

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Part-time)

W-2
Pay as posted$62 to $96 per hour, by state
StructurePart-time W-2
LicensureFlorida and Washington
Posted as14 listings, under 2 different job titles

Two Chairs posts every one of these requisitions twice, once as "Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner" and once as "Advanced Practice Provider," with identical pay and near-identical text. Both ask for a board-certified PMHNP-BC. So 14 listings are really one role in two states. Washington reads "a total hourly rate of $62 to $96 (guaranteed base + incentive potential)"; the Florida posting reads $62 to $81 for the same work. California and Maryland, which appeared in issue 01, are gone.

Equip Health

Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Eating Disorders

Full-time
Pay as posted$120,000 to $150,000 plus 15% bonus
StructureFull-time, Pacific time zone coverage
LicensureRemote, United States
Posted as1 listing

Unchanged from issue 01. Published as "Earning Potential Range: $120,000 to 150,000 Annually + 15% Performance Bonus Potential." Still the only sub-specialty role here, and still banded below Talkiatry's generalist range despite being specialist work. Worth weighing if you have eating-disorder experience and expected a specialty premium.

Headway

Remote Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Pay not published
Pay as postedNot published by the employer
StructureProvider network, you build a panel
LicensureRemote
Posted as1 listing

Unchanged, and still publishing no range. Headway is a marketplace rather than an employer in the usual sense. Income depends on how fast your panel fills, which is typically slow for the first few months. Treat any headline rate you see elsewhere as a ceiling, not an expectation.

Cadence follows the volume, not the calendar. Two issues in, the market has produced one new job in a fortnight. That is what a fortnightly brief is for. If postings pick up we go weekly. If a fortnight passes with nothing new, you get an email that says exactly that instead of a padded issue.

Yes, the site is called PMHNP Daily. On this data that name is a promise we cannot keep yet, so we are not pretending otherwise.

Method, and what we left out

Included: roles at telehealth companies with institutional funding, sourced from each company's own public job-board feed, where either the title identifies a psychiatric or mental-health nurse practitioner or the body of the posting requires a PMHNP. Issue 01 matched on title alone. That would have missed the SonderMind W-2 role above, so this issue reads the posting body too.

Excluded: FNP, AGNP, acute care and RN-only roles; therapist, psychologist and psychiatrist roles; management and director roles; staffing-agency repostings; and any listing whose application link did not resolve. Equip Health's Family Nurse Practitioner eating-disorder roles were excluded on this basis, as they are FNP rather than PMHNP.

Deduplication: where an employer posts the same role once per state, or twice under two different job titles, we collapse it to one entry and list the states. The original listings are still live on the employer's board if you prefer to apply to a specific one.

Link checking: every application link was requested and returned HTTP 200, and separately confirmed to still exist in the employer's live job feed. A careers page can return 200 for a job that no longer exists, so the status code on its own is not evidence.

Checked but nothing matched today: Rula, Grow Therapy, Iris Telehealth, Talkspace and Charlie Health. Their boards were live and were read; none carried a PMHNP role at the time of checking.

Could not be read today: Cerebral's Greenhouse board returned 404 on every slug we tried, so it is absent rather than confirmed empty. Brightside Health, NOCD and Pathlight still expose no public job-board feed we can reach. We re-probe all four each issue.

Pay figures are reproduced as the employer published them. They are not quotes, offers, or guarantees, and they are not our estimates. Where an employer published nothing, this issue says so.
